Who doesn't love a gift with purchase? I certainly do, if I can get a freebie when I'm handing over the cash I don't feel as bad. From the 6th - 22nd October, Debenhams are offering this GWP for any two Clinique items purchased, one to be skincare or foundation and as an added bonus with any 3rd item purchased Debenhams will include a full size 75ml Deep Comfort Hand and Cuticle Cream.
In the GWP you receive 5 products and a perfect sized cosmetic purse to carry the items as well as room to add your make up, let me talk you through the products and what's included; firstly is the Pop Glaze Sheer Lip Colour and Primer, I received the shade Sprinkle which is unlike anything I actually own. In the bullet this looks like an opaque fuschia with a hint of red through it but once applied to the lips it's a sheer finish adding a beautiful hint of colour to the lips which is easily buildable depending on your desired look. I find this lipstick easy to wear and hydrating on the lips so it's perfect for everyday.
Included in this GWP is a full size All About Eyes which I love. I've tried this and the rich version although I prefer that, depending on how my skin is and the time of year I like to alternate between the two versions. The original formula (pictured) is a gel cream texture as opposed to the rich version which is a heavier thick cream. I've found it not to be as hydrating but for those days when I'm wearing heavy eye make up, I opt for the original formula to stop all chances of creasing.
I'll always be searching for the "one" when purchasing mascara but I've been loving using this High Impact Mascara thats included. After being faithful to my beloved Estee Lauder double wear mascara it was nice to try something else; I apply this on primed lashes and it lasts all day and gives my lashes a great lift (with added help from LVL) but it does transfer around my eyes so although it's a great product, personally for me it's just not tough enough.
Next we have the cute little palette, exclusive to the GWP with two eye shadows shades and one blush, the pale pink and the deep grey are both versatile shades which can be used in a numerous amount of ways to create different looks, since using this palette I've opted to wash the pale pink eyeshadow over my lids to brighten my eyes up and if I'm wanting something a little heavier I smudge out the grey on my upper lash line. The blush is peach with brown undertones so depending on how you wear your make up you can opt for a bold blusher or subtle hint of colour to create an almost golden glow.
The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ was one of the first high end products I've ever tried, one of Clinique best selling products and a holy grail to many. What I like about this is it's suitable for everyone so when my skin is feeling more oily I can slap this on and I'm good to go or if I'm wanting something with more moisture I can apply a serum underneath then this over the top to really lock in the moisture. The consistency of it is easy to work into the skin and it sinks in so quickly leaving a smooth base ready for make up.
Finally it's the Take The Day Off Make Up Remover Lids Lashes Lips, the product I was most eager to try and as you can tell I've already had it opened. It's a two way formula of oil and water which just work wonders to remove my eye make up but what I like most is its gentle but effective, one cotton pad removed any mascara from both eyes and as a contact lens wearer I didn't find it drying or irritating.
To shop the Clinique range and get your gift with purchase, head over to Debenhams on the 6th. All items except the palette can be purchased full size online but if you've been eyeing up this products and already doing some shopping, this is the perfect way to test the products before purchasing full size.
