La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Unifiant

Is this a tinted moisturiser? Is this a spot treatment? I am an avid lover of the original Effaclar Duo and when the Effaclar Duo Unifiant popped through my letterbox, I was beyond excited to try it. A targeted spot treatment with a hint of tint to remove any redness with the original formula to reduce any blemishes.

For me personally, I like to apply this all over my face as a tinted moisturiser; around summer with the excess heat I always find my skin suffers more with blemishes so applying this all over my face keeps any spots at bay, unclogs any pores as well as giving my skin some colour. I was sent the light shade which suits my NC15-NC20 skin tone perfectly.

When using this I've noticed that the product glides onto the skin so easily and doesn't leave that tight drying feeling I've previously experienced with the original formula. This product is targeted to those who regularly suffer with blemishes and combination\acne prone skin but I find on my dry/dehydrated skin this works well too. If you're like me and suffer with dry skin and worry it may not be suitable, I find just applying a good moisturiser underneath helps keep skin hydrated.

This product is surprisingly long wearing especially as it's marketed as a skin care item instead of make up, I've worn this out when shopping and to work with a good powder and it's lasted around 6.5-7 hours before a touch up was required. This will be coming with my on my holiday to keep my skin in check and the slinky tube means it takes up zero space.

Have you tried this product? Do you like the Effaclar range?

This post contains a PR sample. As always, my opinion is 100% honest.
