When I purchased one of Bumble & Bumble's best selling products, I expected great things. I wanted the Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer to make my hair soft, shiny and reverse any damage those pesky straighteners and hair dryers caused. This spray says it protects against UV damage and breakage, helps reduce frizz and tame flyaways. Can I say it does that? Well I just don't know.
I use this every time I wash my hair, spraying it all over from root to tip before blow drying, the spray is a white liquid in the bottle which is really light weight and doesn't make your hair crusty (you know what I mean girls, like hairspray). After blow drying, my hair looks sleek, soft and shiny but it's still frizzy and I've still got a lot of damage. I've watched the condition of my hair before and after using this for around a month and I really can't see any difference. That aside, the day after I've washed my hair and used this, it's just so greasy! The low down on my hair is that it's fairly oily, I can last around 3 days without any product before it needs washing but after I use this, it makes my roots so oily and by the second day my hair is begging to be washed. It's quite a costly product retailing for £19 in Boots and various Bumble & Bumble stockists, and I'm just so disappointed. I've noticed no difference and it's a lot of money to pay for something to aid oiliness. Sorry Bumble & Bumble, this time you've just not done it for me.
