In terms of July, I've been a pretty shoddy blogger. I've had a lot of stress on me at the moment; learning we have to move house, deciding what to do with my life career wise and generally just figuring out a place in my life... Woah, deep I know. But all in all, July has been a month where I've tried to spend as little time on the internet as possible. I spend all day in front of a computer screen, sometimes it's nice to switch off the internet and actually live in the real world, whether that's taking a bath and reading a good book or spending the day with loved ones. It's easy to forget to live life and spend time with those you love and really appreciate it without having a electronic device attached to you.
I feel that July has been a month where I've tried to better myself, I'm trying to have a more positive outlook and live life without worrying, just taking one day at a time. As well as that, I've been aiming to lose weight and overall eat more healthy. I've recently bought myself a juice blender so on a morning I will opt for a fruit smoothie instead of a trip to my local Costa and I can already see the difference in myself, getting the essential vitamins and minerals makes me feel 100% better in a morning and I have more get up and go. I'm hoping once I've got to grips with what smoothies I like and what ingredients I use, there will be some smoothie posts up on my blog.
MAC Pro Longwear Foundation
I've written about this foundation numerous times but if you're looking for medium coverage, a foundation that stays all day and a semi matte coverage then this is the one for you. In comparison to Estee Lauder Double Wear, it's not cakey, doesn't set into lines and isn't drying on the skin. I remember back when I used Double Wear and even after cleansing I still had it on my skin, it was a total nightmare! With this MAC offering, I can cleanse my skin and all traces of foundation are removed. Hurrah!
MAC Mineralize Concealer
July has been an absolute scorcher and the last thing I want to do is cake my face in make up, I've been loving a tinted moisturiser for especially hot days and when I needed a bit of concealer, I've used this one by MAC. It's lightweight and doesn't cake around my eyes or nose, it's a creamy semi thick consistency that blends easily and stays put - in this weather, that's an essential.
Make Up Revolution Iconic 3 Eyeshadow Palette
I love this, I put off buying the Naked 3 palette because I thought I wouldn't like pink eyeshadows, turns out I do and I love this dupe so I've got a high street alternative and it's as good as the high end counterpart. I love creating pink smokey eyes with this and using a different palette of colours aside from browns and bronzes really is a breath of fresh air sometimes. Who knew I could stray from my gold smokey eye?!
Make Up Revolution Focus and Fix Eyeshadow Primer
I featured this in last months favourites but I just can't get enough, all the tens of pounds I've spent on eyeshadow primer in the past and this was only £4 I think and it's as good as any I've used previously. I can't go without an eyeshadow primer and with this I don't have to. If you're in need of one, pick this up ladies and you won't be disappointed.
