Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick

When I first stepped into the make up world, the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick was on every wishlist of mine and I recall swatching endlessly but never made the purchase so late on to the high street bandwagon and a purchase way overdue, I picked up the Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick. With a choice of two shades, one being Pink Bronze and the other Gold Bronze, I of course opted for Gold Bronze, you know me - if it's bronze and gold toned, I'm all over it. How is this compared to the Bobbi Brown offering? Well, it's certainly as pigmented, as you can see from the swatches each shade of bronze has a fantastic colour pay off. I use this more as a bronze highlighter when I'm wearing self tan or lightly blended over bronzer instead of highlighter to give myself glowing skin. Each shade can be used individually depending on the look you're going for, or all blended as one to create one tone. This is a great little palette which could be used as a bronzer, highlighter and even on the eyes used to create a bronze smokey eye, so it's great for those heading off on holiday this year and don't want to take lots of products. For £4.99 instead of £32, it's a great bargain and if you're like me and lusting over the Bobbi Brown version, this could be the one for you.

Have you tried this, or the Bobbi Brown one?
