Maybelline ColorSensational Shine Gloss
Payday came and I headed straight to Boots, what beauty blogger doesn't? I had a list in hand and whilst I was perusing the stands, I picked up the Maybelline ColorSensational Shine Gloss and put it in my basket. Let me tell you now, if you're one of those girls who's fed up of the hair in lipgloss situation when it's windy and hate sticky lipgloss in general, these really are the lipgloss for you. The Maybelline gloss reminds me so much of the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors and I could write a full blog post on my love for them so this is a fantastic dupe, I prefer the doefoot applicator in the Maybelline gloss compared to the spongey applicator of the Clarins. I'd describe these more as a balm/lipgloss combo giving just a subtle sheen of colour to the lips, I find I wear these when I'm wanting to make my lips look fuller or apply them lightly over a nude lipstick to give a glossier finish. I picked up the shade Cashmere Rose which is a light peachy pink (surprise, surprise) with tiny flecks of glitter running through. These retail in Boots for around £6.20 instead of Clarins which retail at £18 so if you're wanting to save the pennies but get the same finish, head to Boots now... Quick, I'm off to buy more!
