My Go To Moisturiser

I know, another Clarins product. Beth when are you gonna stop harping on about Clarins? Well, not anytime soon. I was desperate for a new moisturiser, after using the Clinique Superdefense Moisturiser which was a repurchase after using this a long time ago - lesson learnt here, just because you used it in the past and liked it, doesn't mean you'll like it again in the future - but anyway, after I used up the last of that, I was on the hunt for a new one. A new beauty salon has opened in my area which primarily uses Clarins products and after they gave me a little tour, she handed me some samples and off I went trying them and starting my love affair with Clarins.

After trying a sample of the Clarins HydraQuench Cream and falling in love instantly, I purchased the full size come payday and it's not a decision I've regretted. If you're like me and suffer from dry, tight and dehydrated skin, I can't recommend this enough. This is a thick cream with an almost gel like texture which sinks into the skin so quickly leaving my face soft, supple and smooth to the touch. What I love the most about this is with it sinking into the skin so well, there isn't any shiny residue left on the skin, in comparison to the Clinique one I was using I would have to wait around 10 minutes to fully sink in which isn't ideal for me when I'm in a rush on a morning and then it'd still leave me shiny. Around an almond sized amount will do the whole face and enough to run over the neck which means that £35/50ml this should last me a long time, I purchased this at the end of April and I've barely made a dent, the only downside is that I wish I'd purchased the one with SPF 15 with summer just around the corner but for now, I can get my SPF elsewhere. I know I wax lyrical about Clarins and all their products but in all serious, they're yet to let me down.

What's your everyday moisturiser?
