The Body Pamper

I'm a bit of a slacker when it comes to the old bodycare, I can exfoliate and moisturise but I never do it consistently but I've found some products that really help create soft supple skin and leave me smelling good enough to eat.

I tend to favour a bath over a shower, I love lighting the candles, setting down with a good book and relaxing but when I want to give myself a good scrub, I take a shower and scrub my body from top to bottom with the Caudalie Divine Scrub. This scrub has the right amount of grit, it leaves skin thoroughly buffed without scratching the skin and my skin feels so smooth after. I have Keratosis Pilaris which means my forearms can be quite rough and it feels like I have permanent goosebumps but since using the Caudalie Divine Scrub, my forearms are in better condition.

Next up is the body oil, I like to sandwich this in with a thick moisturiser after application. My favourite choice of body oil is the L'Occitane Supple Skin Oil, I'm a big fan of their almond range, I've currently run out of their Almond Shower Oil but it's on my list to repurchase. If you're after soft smooth skin, check out the L'Occitane Almond range. Like all their range, the smell is absolutely incredible, it sinks into the skin so easily, leaves skin supple (like it claims) and baby smooth. I've tried many body oils but nothing compares to this one. I've had this months and as you can see, I've only used around half.

And then it's onto the moisturiser and my newest addition to my stash. The Kiehls Creme De Corps was picked up after reading countless rave reviews and in my search for the perfect skin, I had to snap it up. The thick yellow butter smooths over the skin well, it's not too thick in consistency but thick enough to thoroughly moisturise the skin, it sinks into the skin quickly and using this after the L'Occitane Supple Skin Oil it locks in the oil so my skin is moisturised all through the night. All these products are beautiful in scent and even on a morning, I can still smell them. Hurrah for finally finding a body care routine that has banished the rough dry skin.
