Nars Sheer Glow

I bought the Nars Sheer Glow as a post birthday treat for myself and although I've only had it a few days, I wanted to share my first impressions. I recently visited my local Space NK store to purchase this, the sales assistant matched me to the shade Fiji, which at first was too dark but blended in, this matches my skin tone perfectly. Although they didn't have it in stock, I went home and ordered it ASAP. At first I didn't think I would like this, the finish is very radiant which I love but this contains silicones which my skin normally hates but this blends into the skin effortlessly creating a flawless finish. The coverage is medium to full and buildable so a little really goes a long way. I use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to apply this and once applied, the foundation dries to an almost powder finish with a hint of radiance. I've been using this every morning for the past few days and it's been lasting me all day throughout work without the need for any touch ups. I've really come to love this so far, the only downside is the price and it also doesn't come with a pump so it means a lot of product can be wasted, but I pour a little bit onto my foundation brush and use it like that. It's definitely a favorite so far, I'll let you know how I get on with it!

Have you tried this before?

  2. Great review, I'm so tempted to try this, I had it put on me at a counter once and I loved the finish but the colour was far to dark for me, if I'd been matched better I would have bought it too.

    1. I'd love to try sheer matte and compare them, sheer glow is very subtle glow so I think it would work on your skin xx

  4. I have wanted to try this foundation for a while, but have so many other foundations on my list. Plus, I'm very happy with my current drugstore foundation. I may also buy it as a birthday gift to myself. :)

  7. I haven't tried it before but I've heard so many beauty gurus rave about it! I do know that you can purchase a pump for it but the cap won't fit back on afterwards; although if you are going to repurchase the foundation, I don't think the pump is too pricey!

    1. I really wanted the pump but I've been ok just using it on the back of my hand without any wastage! I don't like the fact you can't get the lid on after, I take my make up out with me sometimes! Xx
