An Introduction to Kiehl's

Another purchase was made after the devastation of not getting hold of Beyonce tickets, but no more on that, my heart still aches when I realise I won't be seeing Bee on stage. But to soften the blow and armed with some cash in my bank account, I set out to improve my skincare routine and fill the little gap left inside me. Does anyone know where to find local Shopaholic Anonymous meetings?

Lets start with the wonder product, and that's the Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I'm very skeptical about anything for the eyes but this little pot delivers. Packed with Avocado oil and Shea Butter this leaves around my eyes nourished and has definitely improved the texture of the skin surrounding my eyes. I rub the cream between my ring fingers and patted along the orbital bone, it turns into an oil which is quickly sunk into the skin. I've definitely found a big big love for this little pot of goodness and will repurchase when I run out, but that won't be for a while, only a little amount is needed for each application and it's suitable for both day and night!
The blogger favourite, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, was something I'd seen floating around the blogosphere and I can't turn down a good old oil! This smells divine, enriched with Evening Primrose Oil and essential oils like Lavender, the product is made up from 99.8% natural ingredients. Two little drops of this from the handy pipette dispenser massaged onto my face on an evening before moisturiser means my skin on a morning looks brighter and hydrated. I opted for this as one of my deluxe samples so haven't even broken into the full size bottle yet but this is a new oily favourite.
And finally, another moisturiser! Have you guys lost count of how many I have? Too many but I couldn't resist the Ultra Facial Cream. A cream that promises to deliver 24 hour hydration and it certainly does. I've recently had very temperamental skin, some oil on my forehead and breakouts but the tightest and dry skin around my nose and cheeks. The moisturiser is gentle, doesn't have a scent or any nasties and the light-weight formula sinks in well and doesn't leave any tackiness. I use this morning and evening so hydrated skin all round!

As for the samples, the Ultra Facial Cleanser still remains unopened and I've passed the Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate onto my mother to tackle her "age lines" but on first use she was sold. Mumma BBB may becoming a beauty lover? Who'd have thought it?!

So Bee or no Bee, I have soft supple and hydrated skin. Hurrah to Kiehl's! But if you have spare Beyonce tickets, you know where I am ;)
