Monthly Favourites: October

Here we go again, another month has gone. Soon we'll all be sat round our tables tucking into a fat turkey and eating one too many Quality Street. And as its got colder, I've been loving onesies and fluffy socks as well as these beauty favourites...

Primark turban: £1.50, Topshop nail varnish in Gypsy Night: £6, Lush Mask of Magnaminty: £4.95/125g, Mac Peachykeen: £17.50, L'oreal Lumi Magique highlighting concealer: £8.49

001. The Primark hair turban is a key item in my bathing ritual. Wash my locks, tip my head upside down and put this on. It doesn't budge or fall off like a towel and dries my hair quicker. I wanted it in pink originally but had to settle with blue... Girl can't have it all.

002. 2 coats of this polish gives a gorgeous black manicure with a hint of green and gold glitter. My staple party polish!

003. Cleansing? Check. Exfoliating? Check. Helps spots? Check. This face mask works wonders on my (recent) problematic skin. I got this little sample of Mask of Magnaminty when picking up the Brazened Honey mask and I'll be snapping it up full size.

004. I've put my bronzed self into hibernation - sigh. But to make this transition to winter a little easier I sweep MAC Peachykeen on my cheekbones which is a lovely flush of deep pinky goodness with a peach undertone.

005. Late nights and early mornings, my dark circles are becoming more prominent so to brighten me up, I apply the L'oreal Lumi Magique highlighting concealer and voila, dark circles be gone!

  3. Great favourites, I've been contemplating getting a hair turban as I find towels far too heavy on my head, I feel like they're pulling my hair! This post may have made up my mind for me!

  8. Lovely favourites. I have had my eye on the L'oreal Lumi Magique highlighting concealer for a while. I have the primer & love that. During the winter my under eyes need a little more brightening. SO I think I will pick this up

  16. I have to see if they sell the L'Oreal concealer where I live. I have terrible dark circles and I'm always looking for concealers that could cover them. :)
