Kleenex Embarrassing Giveaway

Kleenex skincare: Twitter giveaway

As most of you know, Kleenex released a skincare range which features face wipes, eye make-up remover wipes and facial cloths. I have actually never tried the products before I won the giveaway so you can imagine how delighted I was to win their goody bag. Only shame is, the goodybag came at a price - in the form of my most embarrasing story.

On the Kleenex twitter @KleenexCleanse, you tweet them you're most embarrasing story and are entered into winning on of their 10 goody bags.
Here was my entry:
"@KleenexCleanse ripping my trousers without realising and walking around all day with my bum on show #wipemeaway"

I wish I could say this didn't happen, but it did and I didn't even realise till I got home which meant everyone was staring and laughing and I have no idea why. It's one of those moments you'd find in a teenage magazine but anyway, onto the goody bag.
I received in the purple bag some Facial Cleansing Wipes, Eye Makeup Removal Wipes, a sample of the Facial Cloths, Shine Absorbing Sheets, a compact mirror and a 50p voucher for my next purchase.

I have to say that I really am impressed with the face wipes and the eye make-up wipes, they are strong, durable and don't contain any perfumes or irritating product on which can sting my eyes. Most of the time I buy baby wipes cause a lot of face wipes I have used do sting my eyes and being a contact lens wearer, it's unbearable sometimes and can leave me in tears. The eye make-up remover wipes are the same as the face wipes just smaller and easier to hold and use around the eye area. I've found that they remove even the toughest of make-up, I've used these to remove my Estee Lauder double wear (yes I'm ashamed to admit I didn't cleanse properly that night) or thick mascara after a night out and they've left me squeaky clean. They really are a perfect first stage to my skincare routine just to remove eye make-up before I cleanse. As you can see, I got a bit excited to use these and was a bad blogger and used them before I took a photo.

As for the shine absorbing sheets and facial cloths, I've not used them yet. Firstly I don't have oily skin so the absorbing sheets are not something I need in my skincare routine but I may hold onto them in case I do a giveaway in the future or pass them onto someone with oily skin. I am really intrigued to see how they work though. So if any of you have used them and have thought they worked, let me know.
I'm really wanting to use the facial cloths but I'm not sure what for yet, the description says it can be used wet or dry, for toner or cleanser but can also be used to remove nail varnish with remover and also removing face masks. I think they're an all-rounder product and I'm sure as soon as I find a purpose for them, I'll let you know how they work. The little compact mirror was a perfect little addition to the goody bag and is now in my travel make-up bag!

For your chance of winning one of their goody bags, like @KleenexCleanse on twitter and tweet them your most embarrassing story! Good luck!

  5. I got the same goodie bag, but I found the eye make-up remover wipes stung my eyes quite a bit when I used them, which I'm pretty sure they are NOT meant to do, so I've had to stop using them! x
