A Purchase or Two...

Estee Lauder Hydrationist £32.00, Estee Lauder Foaming Face Wash: £21.00, Topshop Vectra pumps: £28.00, Topshop purse: £18.00, Organix Morrocan Argan Oil shampoo & condition: £8.00

I bit the bullet when payday came and went a little mad, which resulted in me spending practically all my wages before the week was over (I did also buy clothes to go out, money for going out and general bits and bobs). I went into Boots and went to the Estee Lauder counter just for a looksie and then ended up coming away with a moisturiser and a face wash. I've said in previous posts how I wanted to try the Liz Earle set but I'm so glad I purchased the Estee Lauder bits, I will never ever look back, they work wonders on my skin and within the first week of using them, I noticed a massive improvement on the appearance of my skin but also how it felt aswell. I permanently suffer from dry skin and it's always left tight after washing my make-up off, but I've found that using the Estee Lauder products, I don't have that problem anymore.

The shoes and the purse are things I've been constantly looking at on the Topshop website so when I had a little bit of extra money, I finally decided to bite the bullet and order them off Topshop. When the shoes arrived they also came with a gorgeous floral canvas bag free so I'll be using that - Thanks Topshop! Admittedly, I did want the black Vectra pumps but they were sold out so I settled for the next best thing, but the nude colour will be perfect for spring/summer. The purse was a necessity if I'm honest, I've just bought a new black back and I HATE when purses and bags don't go/match so I thought I'd buy a black one to be consistent.

The last thing is the Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo and condition set from Organix. They were on sale in Boots for 2 for £8 and after they were sold out in one of my local boots, I decided to try another. My hair is in ok condition, I just want something to soften the ends and make it look more healthy. I've read lots of reviews about Morrocan Oil and other oil treatments but I wanted to give this a go before forking out £30. I'll do a review once I've used it properly.

Estee Lauder Beauty Balm

Whilst I was visiting the Estee Lauder counter at my local Boots buying some moisturiser, I was also given a few samples which included the latest product they've released called "Daywear BB" which is their take on the cult product Beauty Balm. I was given a 5ml sample with my purchase for me to try out and here are my thoughts.
Estee Lauder BB cream: £32.00/30ml

"This lightweight creme delivers an instant, even-toned, healthy look. Powerful protection with our proven Super Anti-Oxidant Complex and SPF 35. High-performance, oil-free hydration. Helps to control excess surface oil. Available in 2 shades to suit a wide range of skintones."

This BB gives the perfect amount of coverage without a full face of foundation. It blends into the skin very well and provides good coverage with a natural finish. Its definitely a product I will purchase full size and something I will reach for if I'm having a make-up day off. I imagine this product would be very good on holiday also because it provides the same finish as tinted moisturiser. One of the main benefits that sold this product to me was that it didn't leave my skin looking shiny, whereas some BB's leave the skin looking dewy and shiny. The product also had a cucumber scent to it when applying which I found pleasant. The only downside to this product would be that it doesn't last all day and would need re-applying but application is effortless and takes only a matter of minutes.

All in all, a really good product which I shall definitely purchase.
